-We specialize in the rehabilitation of rubberized asphalt running tracks. Our four-step method and experience of repairing nearly 200 tracks will insure that your track will be as fast and safe as possible. Grass is cut back to the edge and the cracks are routed allowing the material to be applied correctly. The track and event areas are scraped of loose debris and thoroughly cleaned. Next, the cracks are filled (see crack sealing page). The pitted areas such as the start blocks, lane # 1 and the event launch areas are patched. We spray a primer coat and hand squeegee a coat of properly mixed track coating around the track and event areas. This is a painstaking process that is crucial to obtaining optimum performance. Finally official athletic striping and marking finishes the process for a "like-new" track that will last 3-5 years. |
