-Crack Sealing is an intricate part of pavement preservation. Cracks allow water to penetrate the base and sub-base causing damage that will lead to the destruction of pavement. Regular crack maintenance is crucial to avoid re-paving. Not all crack sealant is specified for Indiana's climate nor meet our quality standards. We use the best product available and find that our material / application method lasts 3-5 years, that is 4 times longer than a standard application. To be effective, cracks must be properly cleaned before sealant is applied. We take great pride in our preparation technique; vegetation sterilizer, power wire brush, 200psi. compressed air and heat lance are used as needed. Then modified hot rubber is carefully applied to insure a top quality finished product. |
